Tag Is For Grownups

Okay, so here it is: a new format... just one story per post, and there we go... problem is solved. Enjoy.

Looking back over his shoulder, Thomas knew they were closing in on him, but there was nowhere else to run. He was trapped and unless he could find a hiding spot in the small science room fast he would have to go to jail. Not wanting to even think about that possibility, Thomas quickly opened the cupboard door and stepped inside. He moved some boxes aside and then sat underneath a low shelf, pulling the boxes back towards him to hide behind. Footsteps echoed in the school hallway as his pursuers made their way to the science room.
"We know you're in here, Tommy. Come on out and we can start over. You were going to lose anyway, you're too slow for us." Came the voice of who Thomas had assumed was the leader. It was dark and claustrophobic in the small closet, but Thomas had to stay quiet because getting caught would mean failure and like his father always said: "Failure is never an option for a Zimmerman!" The police were starting to retreat out of the classroom, but Thomas waited until their footsteps faded down the hallway to emerge from his hiding spot. Gasping for air, he looked around the room and noticed they had closed the door on their way out. He walked over and tried to open it, but it was locked.

And there's a little bit more... so read on in a few days! And who knows; maybe I'll even finish "The Continuing Story" one day as well.

This Is Me...

Well, I suck. Yup, this is it, it's what I do... writer's block you could say, but it happens to me every time I try to write a story. I've got the outline down and ready to go, but then the threads start falling apart and I lose focus and the story goes apart with it. Sorry for all you reader's trying to actually find a story to read; I tried, didn't I? I thought about just putting up little bits of it instead, but that wouldn't be as fun to read. Lost my camera's memory card too, not such a good week for me. Since suspense is my specialty, maybe the story can wait a while until I get my work more sorted and find my pace. I will make space in my week for this blog, of course, but it will have to be every three or four days.

Any suggestions of what I should write about? Not my day; no way am I going to be writing about my life! Believe me, you would die of boredom.
I love creating stories and there are so many I have yet to put together... if only I could finish them.
